          Wheeler Auctions and Real Estate is very fortunate to be working with the Held Family to offer at auction a portion of the Carl (deceased) and Esther Held Trust collection of antiques, collectibles and memorabilia.
          Carl and Esther collected for nearly 40 years and had a great passion for items of local, regional and world significant. There are items here from local businesses and families, and items of world importance that go back to this great nation's participation in World War II and before.
          The Helds traveled extensively throughout the country attending public auctions, buying private collections and pieces and occasionally buying out whole homesteads. There will be pieces offered from this collection that many of us have never seen.
          We will be selling approximately 350 to 400 items and will be adding to the auction list periodically with new listings and pictures, hopefully completing the list by January 1, 2010.
          The auction will be conducted in the comfort of the Wright City Lions Club building in Wright City, MO on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 starting at 10:00 AM. All items will be in place and ready for a pre-auction showing on Tuesday afternoon, February 9, 2010 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Because of the sheer volume of Carl and Esther's collection and its extensive nature and the limited space, we are going through it in stages. As the stages are completed we will add to our listing, so check our website periodically.
Care will be given to get an accurate listing, however it will be impossible to list every item and provide very detailed information, so we suggest that each of you make plans to attend the auction in person and see the antiques and beautiful auction items.
